In Karaganda, patrons of a night club who had violated the quarantine regimen attacked journalists during a raid of police officials, the akimat (local government) and public health inspectors. A television camera of the news channel Life09 was damaged. “There were mainly young people from 18-22 years old there. Many were behaving aggressively. They obstructed the video filming and swore at camera people. One of the intoxicated young men broke our equipment with his fist, and another one pushed me. Unfortunately, this last fact was not caught on the video since I stood somewhat at a distance from the camera people,” said Ayazhan Kenesbek, journalist from the news agency Life09.
