On July 6, the popular videoblogger Saodat Abduzakirova was unlawfully detained by four law-officers and beaten. While detained, her blouse was torn, and she suffered light bodily injuries. Abduzakirova is known for running video broadcasts and posting on social media her vision of the situation and the processes underway in the country which began in 2016 when Shavkat Mirziyoev became president.
