Aynur Koskina, a correspondent of the NewTimes.kz, described on his Facebook an attack which occurred March 13 at the Central Communications Service (CCS). The journalist was not able to ask a question of Health Minister Eljan Birtanov and decided to ask it after the event. “But suddenly, somebody abruptly jerked me from behind and tried to twist my arms (I corrected this, because it is more accurate). Imagine my surprise when I saw that this was Dias Akhmetsharip, an official representative of the Ministry of Health. I cried out from the pain and twisted away but continued to chase the minister. In any event, I got the commentary. But the pain in my arm and my outrage gave me no peace,” she said. She was not immediately able to get the tape from the surveillance camera. The entire procedure, as it was determined, goes through the leadership of the CCS, where she was immediately warned at the Security Service that the camera may be non-working.
