On April 20, the Administrative Court of Almaty found a civiс activist, Gennady Krestyansky guilty of acts that provoked a breach of law and order in a state of emergency and arrested Krestyansky for ten days. According to the protocol, the violation happened on March 26, 2020, when Krestyansky was conducting the check on the checkpoint #8. He started broadcasting the situation at the checkpoint, disagreed with the police’s requests to leave the territory, but anyways left afterwards.
