On April 22, the senior investigator at the Department of Police of the Abay District of Shymket issued a warrant for a search and confiscation of equipment at the home of journalist Zaura Mirzakhodjaeva. The search warrant was approved by the investigative court of Shymkent. On April 30, the appeals court reviewed the complaint from Zaura Mirzakhojaeva’s lawyer and revoked the warrant of the senior investigator of the Department of Police of the Abay District of Shymket of April 22, 2020. Now the investigator is obliged to return all the equipment.
