A cameraman Uladzimir Luniou was filming peaceful protest actions in Minsk. On August 10, he was detained by police near the ‘Pushkinskaya’ metro station, despite wearing a vest with the word “Press”. According to the reporter, he was kept 'in inhumane conditions' in custody for 34 hours and beaten by the police. He was later released, but his personal belongings were not returned to him. A protocol on violation of legislation on public events was drawn on him. He was released on August 12.
