The journalist from this publication was not permitted at a meeting of the regional leadership of the Ukrainian Post Office and Mail Carriers, who were on strike. The mail carriers, who had declared a strike the previous day in connection with changes in their conditions of work, had invited reporters to the event. Anzhela Gavrilova, deputy director for network development of the Cherkass branch of Ukrposhta, the Ukrainian Post Offcie, however, banned the journalist from attending “an internal meeting of mail carriers”.
