The case of HSE student Yegor Zhukov began in the Kuntsevsky District Court in Moscow. Initially, the young man was charged with participation in "mass unrest" (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) during a protest on July 27. Later this case was closed and instead of "unrest" the student was charged with incitement to extremism (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Code).
