On November 2, the blogger Islam Nukhanov’s father, Salambek Nukhanov, was summoned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Grozny, put to the wall, a mug shot taken, then led to the office, where Salambek saw his son. Islam was beaten, his hand bandaged, his clothes covered in blood stains, torn almost to shreds.
