An administrative case was sent to the Yakutsk City Court under Part 1 of Article 13.15 of the Code on Administrative Offences for the abuse of freedom of information. The administrative case against the journalist of the "Yakutsk Vecherniy" newspaper Mikhail Romanov was initiated after an article in April about the libertarian Anton Ammosov. In July 2019, the journalist was fined 30,000 roubles under a fake news law. In December, the Court of Cassation overturned the decision.
