In Moscow, during a rally for fair elections, the police used violence against journalists covering the event. Elena Kostryukova said: “We were in Stoleshnikov Lane behind the riot police cordon, filming and working, as were all the accredited journalists. One of the police officers hit me on the shoulder and chest.”
