Tajikistan Foreign Ministry stripped journalist Anushervon Aripov of his press accreditation. His previous accreditation run out on 1 August and wasn’t extended. On the morning on 4 August, Rakhmatov was invited to the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan. The state officials were unhappy with the accounts that authorities deemed biased. Both articles mentioned campaigning methods used by the incumbent president Emomali Rakhmon.
