The court found Dmitry Alimkin guilty of intentional acts aimed at inciting national enmity or discord committed by a group of persons. He was sentenced to five years' imprisonment with a three-year suspension and released in the courtroom on recognizance. Before the trail, he spent 14 months in the pre-trial detention centre.
