Tikhonovsky was detained, while he was streaming an opposition rally in Minsk. The traffic police stopped the car which he was driving. He was ordered to go to the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs where he was kept for two hours. He also received a fine (formally for incorrect tinted car windows).
