The Ministry of Health sued journalist Teimur Kerimov on a special charge. The Ministry demanded the journalist be convicted under article 147 (defamation) of the Criminal Code for harshly critical statements on the situation in the healthcare system. Work was begun on the complaint - however, during the judicial review, the Ministry withdrew the claim.
