On September 12, 2018, the Perm Regional Court found Roman Yushkov guilty under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred) and sentenced him to two years on probation. On November 29, 2018, the Supreme Court upheld the decision. The criminal case against Yushkov opened in October 2017.
