On July 30, 2018, cameraman Kirill Radchenko, documentary filmmaker Alexander Rastorguyev and war correspondent Orkhan Dzhemal, were killed in the Central African Republic while investigating the Wagner Group. The Group is a militia believed to be owned by businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, who has links to the Kremlin.
