“These people tied me up with tape and started strangling me with a bag and threatening me. From their shouts, I made out that they had children and they didn't want to go to prison because of my statement. That I am nothing compared to them, and that if something happens to the FSB officers charged, the agency will start checking. I put up with it silently until they said they might take me somewhere and get rid of me. With no body and no witnesses, there is no case. I got scared and signed the paper they gave me. Later I saw that it was a statement in my name that they would then hand to the military investigator in court. It said that when the FSB officers were detained on April 29, I was to blame for everything that happened.”
