A criminal case was opened against Zaur Ganbarov, a correspondent for the site Anews.az. A month previously Ganbarov was beaten by employees of the Fund for Social Defense in Gedabek District while performing his professional activity. The journalist appealed to the prosecutor to investigate this case. After this, the Fund’s employees complained to the police about the journalist. Due to this complaint, a criminal case for hooliganism has been opened against Gabarov.
