In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Eduard Fraer, a correspondent for Sakh.com, was attacked by unknown assailants while walking down the street. A car stopped nearby and a passenger got out of a taxi, tried to grab the journalist and drag him into the car. The journalist started running and met a woman he knew. The man who ran after the journalist introduced himself. "But there was not even a picture on the certificate of the State Narcotics Control Officer, which we very briefly showed!" When asked what caused the chase, he said that the journalist was taking pictures of the road, and this led him to suspect that he was tried to deal drugs in broad daylight.
