Freelance journalist Elgun Ganjimsoy, who writes on military topics, was detained by officers of the Agdam District Police Department. He was accused of violating quarantine rules although he provided a journalist’s identification. The Agdam District Court declared the journalist guilty of violating the quarantine regimen and resisting police. Ganjimsoy was sentenced to 20 days of administrative arrest.
