On September 23, on the day of snap elections to the Yerevan City council, at the polling station 7/50, Hripsime Jebejyan, a journalist from “Aravot”, was filming someone who was voting outside the booth. The voter’s daughter intervened, holding the journalist by the elbow and saying, “Why are you filming my dad?” The journalist informed her that voting is a public process, and that the media has the right to cover it.
