On June 6, Arshak Hakobyan, Head of the Former Chief Police Officer’s bodyguard squad filed a lawsuit to the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Daniel Ionnaisyan, programme co-ordinator at the NGo “Union of Informed Citizens”, demanding the retraction of allegedly defamatory statements and compensation. On June 10, court proceedings on the case began.
