On March 14, employees of cafés near the Opera House that were to be demolished after the decision of Yerevan municipality used violence against Hetq.am reporter Narek Alexanyan while he was carrying out his professional duties on the site. A café employee pulled the journalist's hand, and another one shouted "Get out of my territory."
