On the 23rd of October the director of the television channel "Kavkasia" Nino Dzhangirashvili announced that the Ministry of Finance in Georgia had created a new schedule for outstanding payments owed by the channel after authorities confiscated property. The director explained that the reason for the sequestration had been debts payable to the government, which they were paying under an existing schedule. They had missed a deadline for a rolling payment, and the ministry followed by confiscating property.
