Previously, in November 2017, the news website Fergana published a video of correspondent Elnura Alkanova's journalistic investigation regarding the sale of the VIP-village "Ideal House". 48 previously nationalized cottages on an area of 12.4 hectares were privatised for 142 million soms. The competition was won by firm "VostokTekhKomplekt". Journalist Elnura Alkanova focused in her investigation on the company's ties to the brother of Prime Minister Sapar Isakov.
