In Bryansk Oblast on the 22nd April, a report was filed against Alexander Chernov, Editor-in-chief of the online publication “Bryanskiy Vorchun”, in line with Part 9 Article 13.12 of the Russian Criminal Code, for producing information on the spreading of the coronavirus disease. The reason for the initiation of administrative proceedings about sharing fake news was a publication from the 7th of April.
