During the president's visit to Khorezm on 27-28th January, Fergana.ru journalist Sergey Naumov was blocked in his flat by officers of the criminal investigation department who stopped him from going out into the city under threat of violence. A car of detectives was parked outisdethe entrance to the building keeping watch.
