Five police officers in Ust-Kamenogorsk filed lawsuits for moral damages against a local video blogger. Each plaintiff estimated his moral suffering at one million tenge, the website "Ustinka" reports. The reason for the proceedings was video clips that had been posted online. They were filmed at different times and on different streets in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The main people featuring in the videos were local police officers.However, the city court of Ust-Kamenogorsk refused the policemen's claims, as the author of the videos did not demean the honour and dignity of the plaintiffs.
