ArcelorMittal Temirtau filed a lawsuit with the Temirtau City Court to protect its business reputation against civil activist Stanislav Wojciechowski. The press service of ArcelorMittal Temirtau told a Radio Azattyk reporter that the company does not agree with the content of Wojciechowski's videos, claiming the company "always pays attention to environmental issues, cooperates with anyone who expresses concern for environmental issues, and promptly responds to signals from the city's residents" regardless of how they voice them - whether it's a call to the hotline, an article in the press or on social media. However, it considered information in two of Wojciechowski's videos ("Temirtau! CHP-2, Emergency" and "Acid Lake in Temirtau") to be unreliable.
