Court No. 2 in Uralsk considered the claim for the protection of the honour, dignity and business reputation of the private judicial executor Lyazzat Kurmatayeva against the owner of the newspaper "Uralsk Week", LLP "Journalist's Initiative" and the publication's correspondent Lyudmila Kalashnikova. On December 27th, the court granted L. Kurmatayeva's claim in part: the defendants must publish written refutations of untrue information and pay the plaintiff 20 thousand tenge to compensate for moral harm. The court also ordered the defendants to pay representational fees of 50,000 tenge.
