The Investigative Directorate of the West Kazakhstan Region's Internal Affairs Department opened a criminal case under Article 274.2 of the Criminal Code ("spreading knowingly false information that creates a risk of disturbing public order or causing significant harm to the rights and legitimate interests of citizens or the organisation") against blogger Aibolat Bukenov. The criminal case was initiated on the basis of the statement from the head of Zhasulan-Flora LLP (Taraz city), Aidar Nurgozhaev.
