The Leninsky District Court of Hrodna has recognised the TikTok account “grodno_brest_belarus” (identifier: tiktok.com/@grodno_brest_belarus) as extremist informational material. The resource broadcasts news from the Brest and Grodno regions. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
