The Asipovichy District Court of the Mogilev Region has recognised as extremist information materials the TikTok account titled “@belarusupdatehub” (tiktok.com/@belarusupdatehub), which broadcasts Belarusian news. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the internet resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
