The Rechytsa District Court of the Gomel Region has designated the belarusnovosti2 page on the social network TikTok (identifier: tiktok.com/@belarusnovosti2?_r=1&_t=ZM-91MkICQL0Jv) as “extremist informational material”. This video resource broadcasts Belarusian news. It has been labelled “extremist” for the second time — the first such decision was made on 31 July 2025 by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Minsk. On the basis of the court ruling, the Ministry of Information of Belarus added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
