It has become known that a criminal case has been opened against journalist Siarhei Skulavets. A wanted notice has appeared on the noticeboard of the Ivacevičy District Department of Internal Affairs in the Brest Region. The notice states that criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (“Assisting in the extremist activity”). Skulavets left Belarus in June 2023. Prior to that, he had worked discreetly with the Belsat TV channel for several years.
