On 26 December, the St Gregory the Illuminator Medical Centre filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Pastinfo LLC, the founder of the news website Pastinfo.am, demanding a retraction of information that allegedly damages honour, dignity and business reputation, as well as compensation for defamation in the amount of 6 million drams (over $15,000). The grounds for the lawsuit were an article published on the aforementioned website on 10 December entitled “Deadly Ambulance: St Gregory the Illuminator Medical Centre Refused to Admit a Patient. The Latter Died at Home.” The case is currently under consideration by the court.
