Yuriy Velychko, Chutove District Director at JSC Poltavaoblenergo, has threatened legal action against Darya Hustilina, editor-in-chief of Chutivskyi Kray, and demanded the removal of her reporting. Hustilina said that on 5 December she published a Facebook post about a local entrepreneur who faced a dispute with Poltavaoblenergo after installing solar panels for business use. She said a representative of Poltavaoblenergo’s Chutove branch later demanded the post’s removal and threatened to sue. Hustilina refused, stating that she was willing to publish a response from the company if any inaccuracies were identified, and noting that the entrepreneur had provided documentation to support the story.
