The Lefortovo Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office has called for a criminal case to be opened against Vladislav Gorin, a journalist for Meduza and host of the podcast What Happened. He is accused of participating in the activities of an “undesirable” organisation (Part 1 of Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code). Gorin resides abroad. According to the prosecutor’s office, he “engages in activities that contribute to the continuation of Meduza’s work.” Gorin has previously faced administrative penalties for participating in the operations of Meduza as an “undesirable” organisation.
