On 2 November 2025, two police officers again came to the home of journalist and human rights defender Lutfiye Zudiyeva and once more issued her with a warning “about the inadmissibility of violating the law”. When asked why they were doing this, they replied: “To have a conversation so that she does not violate the current legislation.” The warning refers to a caution against violating Federal Law No. 114 “On Counteracting Extremist Activity” and Federal Law No. 54 “On Assemblies, Rallies, Marches and Picketing”.
