It has become known that the details of the Belarusian journalist, former editor-in-chief of Nasha Niva and former political prisoner Yegor Martinovich have appeared in the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ wanted persons database. No information has been provided about the reasons for the prosecution. Inclusion in this database means that the Belarusian citizen has been declared wanted in connection with the initiation of a criminal case. It is likely that the journalist was entered into the Russian database at the request of the Belarusian authorities. Yegor Martinovich is currently living in Lithuania.
