It has emerged that Belarusian authorities have seized the domain euroradio.by from the independent media outlet EuroRadio. This address hosted a mirror site of EuroRadio. The domain had been paid for and was registered by a foreign company — Australian Europe Registry. According to WHOIS information, the domain name euroradio.by now belongs to the Belarusian organisation Open Contact, which specialises in domain registration. Neither the Australian nor the Belarusian registrar has responded to enquiries from the editorial team. In spring 2024, the Operational and Analytical Centre under the President of Belarus began systematically revoking domains from media outlets included in the Republican list of extremist materials.
