The Russian Ministry of Justice has added the publication Aspekty Bashkortostan to its register of “foreign agents.” The ministry stated that the publication spread “unreliable information” about the actions of Russian authorities and the war in Ukraine. Aspekty Bashkortostan was founded by the former Echo of Moscow team in Ufa shortly after the radio station was closed in spring 2022.
