The Sovetsky District Court in Novosibirsk fined Andrei Sivenok, the author of the Telegram channel “Nenaushny Gorodok”, 30,000 roubles (around €300) for carrying out so-called “foreign agent” activities without being registered as a foreign agent (Article 19.34, Part 1 of the Administrative Offences Code). The journalist was accused of reposting content published by other individuals designated as foreign agents. The Ministry of Justice added Sivenok to the foreign agents register in August 2025. He remains in Russia.
