Russia has designated the JX Fund gGmbH as an “undesirable organisation.” The JX Fund is a non-profit initiative that supports journalists forced into exile due to war or political persecution, offering emergency grants, relocation assistance, and long-term support to help media professionals continue their work abroad. Under Russian law, participating in or providing support to an organisation deemed “undesirable” is a criminal offence.
