The Moskovsky District Court of Minsk has recognised the website and social media accounts of This Minsk Media as extremist information material. The website presents itself as an independent media outlet covering news from Belarus and around the world. On the basis of the court ruling, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and possession of materials deemed extremist carry administrative liability for both publishers and users.
