It has become known that in the spring of 2025, the Investigative Committee of Belarus conducted a search of the apartment of independent photojournalist Hennady Veretinsky. According to him, some items were taken from the apartment, but exactly what was removed is unknown. Security forces sealed the apartment and placed it under seizure. Currently, Veretinsky is living in exile, and he is unaware of the reasons for his persecution.
