Rosfinmonitoring has added St. Petersburg journalist Maksim Kuzakmetov to its list of terrorists and extremists. The details of the criminal case against him have not been disclosed, but his Russian bank accounts have been frozen. Kuzakmetov emigrated to Latvia in March 2022 and was designated a “foreign agent” in the summer of 2023. In July 2025, all of his publications were removed from the Dilettante magazine website. Before leaving Russia, Kuzakmetov worked as a host on Echo of Moscow radio in St. Petersburg, an editor at Dilettante magazine, and editor-in-chief of MK in St. Petersburg.
