The Presnensky District Court of Moscow has sentenced TV Rain journalist Anna Mongayt in absentia to five years in a general-regime colony under the law on “fakes about the army” (clause “d” of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Additionally, she is prohibited from managing websites for three years. The case, initiated in July 2025, concerned several posts on Mongayt’s personal Telegram channel. In August, she was placed on the international wanted list.
