The Oktyabrsky District Court of Vitebsk has recognised the YouTube channel of journalist Ilya Malinovsky, “Belarus Novosti” (identifier: youtube.com/@belarusnovosti), as extremist informational content. Based on the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and possession of materials deemed extremist carry administrative liability for both publishers and users.
